This is all good for them. Sharing toys, beds, food, etc. is a way for them to learn boundaries and same goes for the dog you are introducing the puppy to. Aggression is not tolerated, however, if the older dog puts the younger dog in its place without injuring the puppy, the puppy learned its lesson. A hierarchy is established, therefore creating an everlasting bond between two or more dogs in the household.
